Mental health nurse deals with a variety of mental health problems, assesses health status and analyses health risks, counsels both the patients and their family members on the basis of the health problem, and makes recommendations for referral to the next specialist.

The mental health nurse works closely with the treating doctor, including psychiatrists, psychologists and other specialists to find the most appropriate and effective solution to the person’s health problem.
