Mental health nurse

What does a mental health nurse do?

A mental health nurse is a clinical specialist to whom you can confidently turn if you feel the need for advice or support. They are trained to assess your mental health condition using evidence-based assessment tools. Mental health nurse understands and analyzes health risks, always taking into account your individual needs. In addition, a mental health nurse works closely with other mental health professionals to ensure you receive the most appropriate and personalized assistance.

If you’re wondering where to start, you might first meet with a nurse in our clinic. Together, you’ll review potential concerns, identify your needs, and set steps for further actions. The nurse will guide you to the right services if necessary, explain the treatment process clearly and understandably, and support you throughout the journey, offering advice and information on various interventions.

Mental health nurse also provides support to your loved ones in our clinic. If you are concerned about a friend or family member, nurse is an excellent counsellor who advises and shares practical recommendations on how you can support your loved one.
